Clarion graduate in the office

Housing graduates

At Clarion, our housing teams are the backbone of our communities, serving over 125,000 households.

Join our two-year graduate programme, where successful candidates will gain hands-on experience through rotational placements across various housing teams, based on your location.

This programme is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and work experience needed to thrive in the housing sector. By the end of the programme, you’ll be a competent, professional, and well-rounded member of our housing team, with a thorough understanding of each department's roles and responsibilities.

During the programme, you’ll complete four six-month rotations tailored to your location and career interests. For example, one rotation could see you working in the Tenancy Management team, where you'll learn to handle tenancy issues, support residents, and address challenges like antisocial behaviour, preparing you to deliver impactful services in our communities.

Responsibilities

You'll collaborate with the housing teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of ensuring customers' happiness and safety in their homes. Your responsibilities will include managing empty homes, letting properties to new tenants, addressing reports of antisocial behaviour, investigating safeguarding issues, and maintaining the cleanliness of our estates.

Additionally, you'll provide support to our customers, guiding them to resources that enhance their lives and collaborating with agencies like the police, social services, and local authorities.

This position offers an excellent foundation for a career in the social housing sector, equipping you with core customer service skills and technical knowledge, including housing law fundamentals. We're committed to supporting your professional development by funding the Chartered Institute of Housing Level 4 qualification.
