Clarion Housing Group will deliver 600 additional affordable homes across the capital, thanks to new grant funding from the Mayor of London.
The Group was this week allocated £29 million by the Greater London Authority (GLA), which will help to deliver a mix of new social rented and shared ownership homes.
Last summer, Clarion entered into a strategic partnership with the Mayor to deliver thousands of affordable homes in London.
Austen Reid, Group Director of Development at Clarion Housing Group, said:
“At Clarion, we are proud to be working side by side with the GLA to help to address the capital’s housing crisis."
“Today’s announcement is good news for Londoners and through our strategic partnership with City Hall, we will now deliver an additional 600 much needed new homes, on top of the 5,000 high quality affordable homes already planned across the capital.”
