Clarion launches shared ownership homes to accelerate Battersea redevelopment

The UK’s largest social landlord has launched new shared ownership homes in the heart of Battersea.

Clarion Housing is selling 15 one- and two- bedroom apartments at its Windsor Apartments development.

Windsor Apartments is located just 180 meters from Battersea Park and forms part of the wider Prince of Wales Drive redevelopment, which sees decommissioned gasholders transformed into a thriving new community.

The shared ownership homes are available to people who live or work in the London Borough of Wandsworth, with a maximum household income of £90,000.

Prices start at £161,250 for a 25 per cent shared of a one-bedroom apartment (full market value of £645,000) and £206,250 for a 25 per cent share of two-bedroom apartment (full market value of  £825,000).

In total, Clarion is delivering 229 affordable homes at the development, 161 of which are for shared ownership and 68 homes for intermediate rent.
