Clarion Housing Group is to bring its responsive repairs contract for 18,000 properties in North and East London, Essex and the Midlands in-house through Clarion Response from 7 November 2018.
This provides an opportunity to align teams with Clarion’s wider merged group structure, and takes the opportunity to draw on the experience and capacity within Clarion Response meaning it can provide a high-quality repairs service for residents across the regions.
The decision to bring responsive repairs in-house has been made in agreement with Mitie and Wates, who have both delivered the service to Clarion’s housing stock since 2015 and will continue to provide services to Clarion residents until the 7 November.
A spokesperson for Clarion said: “We are grateful for the job that Wates and Mitie have performed and we exit our contracts with both providers on good terms. There will be an extensive handover period to ensure we maintain service levels to residents during this period of change.”
