Clarion Housing Group has appointed Mark Hattersley as its new Chief Financial Officer, he will take up the position in the autumn.
Mark joins Clarion from Sovereign Housing Association where he was CFO for three years. Prior to joining Sovereign, he was Director of Finance & Infrastructure / Deputy CEO at Staffordshire University and Finance Director at Birmingham International Airport.
Commenting on the appointment, Clarion’s Group Chief Executive, Ruth Cooke, said:

Mark has first-rate experience, and has spent the last three years at Sovereign where he oversaw a whole business cost efficiency programme and managed a large scale bond and bank financing structure. Mark also played a critical role in the integration of Sovereign following its merger with Spectrum."
