Clarion Housing, the UK’s largest housing association, is set to unveil its latest collection of contemporary new homes at Castle Hill, Ebbsfleet Garden City.
Officially launching on 8th September, Unity Gardens has 65 two-and three-bedroom homes available through shared ownership.
Buyers can snap up a 35 per cent share of a two-bedroom home at the scheme for £112,875 (full market value of £322,500) and 35 per cent of a three-bedroom home for £129,500 (full market value of £370,000).
Ebbsfleet is the government’s flagship garden city and the first of its kind to be built in the UK in more than 100 years. Over 15 years the garden city is being transformed with 15,000 new homes along with new schools, community facilities and shops. The area’s natural beauty is also being enhanced with newly created open spaces and parklands.
Homeowners at Unity Gardens will also benefit from ultra-quick connections to central London and Paris via Ebbsfleet International - trains to Kings Cross take 18 minutes and Stratford International only 13 minutes.
Gemma Harris, head of low cost home ownership sales for Clarion Housing said:
"We are delighted to launch Unity Gardens where homeownership will become a reality for aspiring buyers who are locked out of the market. Thanks to the fantastic outdoor spaces and new schools and nurseries, we expect Unity Gardens will be extremely popular, particularly with young families looking to set down roots."
Unity Gardens makes up part of the 425 new affordable homes being delivered by Clarion at Castle Hill - the first of the new villages in Eastern Quarry. Clarion’s first new residents moved in to Castle Hill last year and by the end of 2018 more than 150 homes will be occupied. In spring 2018, Clarion entered into a joint venture with Countryside to deliver up to a further 2,600 homes in Eastern Quarry.
