In June 2018 we stepped up our development ambitions in the North with a land deal for a 23 acre site in Sandbach, Cheshire. Clarion's development company, Latimer, exchanged contracts with Gladman Land for the Abbey Road site on which it plans to deliver a 165 home-mixed tenure development.
The site has a Gross Development Value of around £47m and comes with outline planning permission.
Cheshire-based firm The Lane End Group were appointed to build the homes, which should be completed in 2021.
The development will have a mix of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom houses for private sale, shared ownership and affordable rent.
